Leslie Barnard Booth writes across age categories, with a focus on picture books and YA. Leslie’s fiction and poetry have appeared in Ladybug magazine, and one of her nonfiction pieces is forthcoming in Highlights High Five. She received an Oregon Literary Fellowship in 2016, and her short story “Hero” was anthologized in Best New American Voices 2010. Leslie has an MFA in creative writing and an MS in education, both from the University of Oregon. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her family.
